Can You Get Ready or Not for Free? Realistic Ways to Pay Less

Before you look for a free copy of Ready or Not
Ready or Not costs money. VOID Interactive developed and published this tactical first-person shooter, first released on 17 December 2021 for Windows PC. You lead a modern SWAT team sent into tense, hostile situations that have to be brought under control, either on your own or online with other players in co-op.
Sites promising a free copy are distributing unlicensed files, and cracked shooters are a favourite wrapper for malware. If you want to breach doors with VOID Interactive’s squad, do it with a licence bought from an authorized seller or claimed in a promotion the seller itself runs.
Opinion on Steam is positive but more divided than for many big titles. By 2 October 2026, VOID’s shooter stood at 79 % of 347,386 reviews positive, while 8,387 players were deployed on missions at that moment.
Is there any free route into Ready or Not?
Borrowing is off the table
When we checked Steam’s store data on 6 October 2026, Ready or Not was not marked for Family Sharing. A relative’s purchase will not show up for your account, so each officer needs a licence of their own.
Store giveaways

Reward apps
Some apps pay points for playing mobile games or completing tasks, and let you exchange the points for gift cards that can be spent on games. How low Ready or Not has gone
This is the useful part if you only want it cheap. Over more than two years of our price records, the deepest monthly low came in July 2025, at 68 % below today’s Steam list price. Discounts are not rare either: across the stores we track, the game sold below its list price in 12 of the last 12 months. A note for squads: every player who joins an online co-op mission needs a copy of their own, so a group buying together benefits most from waiting for a discount.
What Ready or Not asks of your PC
RAM is modest and the same at both levels: 8 GB, whether you aim for Steam’s minimum or its recommended tier for Ready or Not. Reserve 60 GB of drive space for the install.
