Can You Get ARC Raiders for Free? What Actually Works

ARC Raiders is a paid game

Some online games cost nothing to start; ARC Raiders is not one of them. You buy it once, and we compare PC prices. Embark Studios made and published it, and it launched on 30 October 2025. It is an extraction game played online: raiders head out onto a hostile future Earth overrun by machines called ARC, then try to get back out with what they found.

Steam players’ verdict, on 2 October 2026: 82 % of 416,839 reviews positive, with 21,305 people playing on Steam that day.

Treat any “free ARC Raiders download” with suspicion. A pirated copy of an online game comes from an unlicensed source, and such download sites are a well-known way to spread malware. Buy from an authorized store, borrow through Steam Families, or use a promotion that the store itself confirms.

Lower-cost ways into ARC Raiders

Borrowing through Steam Families

Steam’s store data for ARC Raiders, which we fetched on 6 October 2026, includes Family Sharing among its categories. Inside a Steam Family (Steam’s feature for a household), a game owned by one member shows up in the others’ family library. The owner keeps the licence; whoever borrows it gets their own progress and achievements.

For this game the limit is important. Steam lists only multiplayer modes (PvP and online co-op), and one copy can be in use by one family member at a time. You can take the owner’s copy into matches with other players, but you cannot squad up with the owner on that same copy: playing together means a second purchase. Look in your family library first to see whether it is available.

Free game offers

Stores sometimes give games away for a limited time. Our free games page lists the games a store is giving away right now.

Reward apps

Some apps pay points for playing mobile games or completing tasks, and let you exchange the points for gift cards that can be spent on games. Which apps and offers you get depends on your device and country; collecting enough can take days or weeks; there is no guaranteed amount; and each app sets its own age limits and payout rules. You still buy the game, with credit you earned. We have no commercial relationship with any reward app.
